I say “no way” but the narrative is being pushed.

Keep in mind, Deon Brach has better numbers and the same amount of rings as Edelman and didn’t use PEDs.

Based on stats Wes Welder would probably get in before he does.

Can you imagine if Brady had both of these guys same era/prime.

well if this was MLB there is no way PEDelman would be a HOFer....

when the greatest baseball player of all time can't get in then how the hell can an above average drugged-up WR get there? oh right...NFL doesn't care about roids just weed

I cant see it. welker and troy brown who I don't know if they get there are ahead of him. agree the ped thing hurts. worst thing is the backup of receivers waiting to get in. they were listing them. hes no where close and don't think he can last long enough.

Name me five players in the NFL who you don't think are on PEDs.

It's part of the game.

Watch the bodies shrink when they get away from the game.

Right now, I don't think is a HOF'er. Even without the PED situation I don't think he is really close. Maybe 3 more really good years I'd change my mind.

The idea that he's a hall of fame caliber player is preposterous.

+1. You don't put possession receivers in the HOF.

That's kind of a silly position. Possession receivers, as the name indicates, are third down converters. They are hugely important to sustaining drives.

By the way, who are his peers as a "possession" receiver, past or present?

Doug Baldwin - 493 Receptions, 6,563 yards, 49 TDs.

Deion Branch was not a possession receiver. Same for Doug Baldwin. I don't even remember Dwayne Bowe.

Edelman is a slot receiver. He does the majority of his work over the middle about 10 yards down the field. You've got to be the toughest of the tough to do what he does play after play. He has no peers.

Why does it even matter? His stats are comparable to that of Doug Baldwin and Deion Branch and those guys aren't getting in the HOF. The HOF doesn't look at where you line up as a WR. They look at numbers and rings.
